Along Grand Avenue on the facade of the Madison Complex, which are three buildings that house telecomm and wireless companies including AT&T, is this world map collage. It was created in 1961 using “old” switches, cables and other phone technology from Pacific Bell. The artist, Anthony Heinsbergen, is famous for designing murals inside approximately 750 palace movie theaters.
