There are four viharns at the very large Wat Phra That Hariphunchai temple complex. Next to the chedi is one of the smaller prayer halls called Viharn Phra Chao Lawo and inside this large Buddha image dominates the altar. It is sitting in the Bhumisparsha mudra which is also known as the Earth Touching position. Notice in the lower left corner how donations are attached to sticks. Sometimes these sticks, which are purchased at the temple, have a person’s fortune written on it similar to a fortune cookie.
