Almost the entire west coast of Phuket Island is blessed with sandy beaches that face the Andaman Sea. So during the high season, which runs from November through March, people from Southeast Asia, Europe and Australia flock here to soak up the warm sunshine. It is especially busy during the Christmas and New Year’s weeks.
