Over 1.6 million cruise passengers a year visit Grand Cayman, ranking it fifth among Caribbean destinations. It is the only island without a pier. Ships anchor offshore and then provide tender transportation. Most passengers disembark at the terminals along Hog Sty Bay in downtown George Town.
