16 Theatine Church of St. Cajetan in Munich, Germany

Mustered yellow is an unusual color for a church. Yet, it creates a stunning effect on the Rococo façade of the Theatine Church of St. Cajetan. Saint Cajetan was an Italian Catholic priest (1480 – 1547). In 1524, he co-founded the Theatines, a religious order devoted to the practice of virtue. Construction of the Roman Catholic church began in 1663. The project was not finished until 1768. The twin towers stand a majestic 233 feet.
