The Temple of Heaven was built in Beijing in the early 15th century during the reign of Yongle Emperor of the Ming Dynasty. In the center of the enormous religious complex is the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest. The Qiniandian is a wooden temple sittting atop a carved marble platform. The blue roof tiles represent Heaven. Inside this half-sized reproduction at the China Pavilion is a 360° movie called Reflections of China. The film showcases famous Chinese landmarks.
