Arrive in the evening so you can get an early start the next morning on your scenic drive. Before sunset, park at the end of Surf Beach Drive and watch the action at Torquay Surf Beach. You will quickly see why Torquay is called the Surfing Capital of Australia. In the upper right corner is Rocky Point Lookout, a great place for panoramic views of Torquay Point and the Bass Strait.
