Monaco is geographically very small so it is tempting to explore it by foot so you can appreciate all of its nuances like this sentry tower rather than travel between major landmarks using the CAM bus system. But be forewarned: many of the sidewalks are hilly and some seem almost vertical. If you think I am kidding, at the bottom of the staircase in the La Condamine ward that leads to this view has a direction arrow reading, “Défibrillateur 20 mètres.”
