“Sharing the Magic” is a tribute to Roy Oliver Disney, co-founder of Walt Disney Productions and later CEO and chairman of the Walt Disney Company. After Walt Disney died in 1966, Roy fulfilled his younger brother’s dream of finishing Walt Disney World. This bronze statue at Town Square in Main Street U.S.A. was created by legendary Imagineer Blaine Gibson in 1999. People believe Roy and Minnie were Walt’s and Mickey’s shadows behind their success. That is what makes this sculpture so touching.
