Things are always changing in Vegas. For example, the Aladdin hotel and casino opened in 1966, was closed by the Nevada Gaming Commission in 1979, purchased by Wayne Newton in 1980 then went bankrupt four years later and liquidated in 1998. The new Aladdin opened in 2000 but was sold in bankruptcy to Planet Hollywood in 2003. Their ownership lasted less than seven years when Caesars Entertainment Group bought it in 2010. Two years later, they added a Planet Hollywood Restaurant to The Forum Shops which is connected to Caesars Palace. And that is how these red banners appeared on the balconies during the grand opening in mid-2012.
