The museum was established in 1913 inside the Sacristy of the Royal Chapel. The exhibits are captivating. Among the items displayed in Capilla Real y Museo are the personal effects of the Catholic Monarchs. These include their crowns, jewelry of gold and silver, furniture plus religious artwork collected by Queen Isabella I.
