You can tour inside Galpão das Artes to see additional old floats such as this anteater and squirrel monkey. Equally interesting is learning the story of master craftsman Jair Mendes. He has dedicated over 40 years creating incredible floats for the Parintins Folklore Festival. Mende is credited with many innovations for design, life-like appearances and animation. His creativity is legendary in the city.
