The small yet enjoyable museum displays antique dolls with precious porcelain faces in elaborate dresses, automa figures that will surely delight you plus a floor largely devoted to teddy bears. The Kansai Region including Kobe is also noted for their unique style of hina dolls. These are emperor and empress figures along with their royal court arranged on a stepped platform. They date back to the Edo period (1603 – 1868).
