Miami has become a major hub for financial companies, most of which have their regional headquarters in the downtown Bickell Financial District. The domestic leader in Southern Florida is Wells Fargo followed by B of A and Citibank. Several international banks are also represented here to serve the area’s growing diversity. Plus there are about 150 non-traditional banks and investment funds in the city. In addition, approximately 200 “family office” groups manage money for families with a minimum net worth of $50 million.
