With its exquisite dome and Venetian Gothic design, the Government House in Bangkok resembles an Italian palazzo. This was the home of General Chao Phraya Ram Rakop. Then it became the offices of Thailand’s prime minister and his cabinet. It is also used as a reception hall for foreign dignitaries.
