Next to the Santiago Stock Exchange on La Moneda is this elegant building with two female sculpted allegories below a green cupola and supported by four Corinthian columns. This National Monument was commissioned by the World Insurance Company in 1923. From 1935 until 1975 it was the World Hotel. Today it is a branch office of BBVA.
