Hollywood Boulevard is lined with the glitz and glamor of, well, Hollywood and it is a major attraction for starry-eyed tourists. But my eye appreciates vintage architecture, particularly any building that has gargoyles. Unfortunately, this exquisite Hollywood First National Bank, which was the tallest building in Los Angeles when it was built in 1927, stands empty, forgotten and overlooked by tourists.
