Equally fascinating as touring the ruins of Ancient Delphi is visiting the Delphi Archaeological Museum. This late-2nd century marble sarcophagus at the entrance hints at the spectacular treasures you will admire inside. Most of the artifacts are well over 2,000 years old. They date from the 8th century BC to the 2nd century AD. The preponderance of statues and architectural elements such as friezes are arranged in chronological order.
