This Trompe l’oeil mural is called “Cleo.” It is name after the famous 1963 movie “Cleopatra” staring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. The painting adorned the exterior of the Redbury Hotel, which closed in 2017. The hotel had lots of nostalgic charm like record players in their “flats.” This was perfect because it is across the street from Capitol Records. They also had a restaurant named Cleo.
