Another possibility was targeting Henniker at work. It was eliminated after cursory research because the security at John Hancock Tower – New England’s tallest skyscraper since 1976 – was easy to penetrate yet impossible to escape undetected. The Hancock’s 60 stories contain over 10,000 window panes of blue reflective glass. Now technically named 200 Clarendon Street, most Bostonians still call it The Hancock.
