Michelle deliberated until mustering the fortitude to repel the guilt. She walked through the Sea Gate, an arched entry into Kotor. Looming above a pillory was a limestone clock tower. A dominate feature of Trg od Oružja, Kotor’s largest square, is the Clock Tower built in 1602. The two faces were added in 1810. At the base is a pillory once used to publicly abuse and ridicule prisoners. From this point, narrow paths lead in four directions through Stari Grad (Old Town). Each one has its own visual rewards. Start wandering.
