As she stepped out in front of the Tribune Tower, Mr. Z surprisingly spoke. “Nice meeting you, Irene.” The Chicago River is a 156-mile waterway flowing here along Wacker Drive before emptying into Lake Michigan. On the right is DuSable Bridge, also called the Michigan Avenue Bridge. The center clock tower is the Wrigley Building. Immediately right of it is Tribune Tower, built for the Chicago Tribune newspaper in 1925.
