Some people claim the circular design of the Capitol Records Tower looks like stacked records and I thought the spike on top looks like a record player stylus. What I later learned is this beacon blinks out the word “Hollywood” in Morse code. Built in 1956, this landmark music studio remains the offices of the Capitol Music Group.
