But here is a tip about buying Cuban cigars. You’ll see all the major brands – Cohiba, Montecristo, Romeo y Julieta – offered in souvenir shops and by beach vendors. They tend to be overpriced so bargain before buying. They are also probably fakes. However, unless you are a real aficionado, you probably can’t tell the difference . So enjoy! If you plan to bring them home, simply take off the bands and throw away the box.
