This is a detail of an 85 x 30 foot mural on the side of the Broward County Governmental Center Parking Garage. The painting illustrates iconic images of Broward County’s history. They include the Wanderer paddleboat, The Stranahan and Company Trading Post plus citrus fruit. In the center is Governor Napoleon Bonaparte Broward, the county’s namesake. Dan Daddona created this outdoor art in 1988.
