The Broward Center of the Performing Arts has four theaters. The venue hosts over 200 performances a year including plays, operas, ballets and concerts. Constructed in 1991, it became the centerpiece for the revitalization of the Riverwalk Arts and Entertainment District in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
