The Bellagio hotel, resort and casino opened in 1998 and is owned by MGM Resorts International. Its older neighbor along Las Vegas Boulevard South, better known as The Strip or the Vegas Strip, is Caesars Palace. Its first tower was built in 1966. Both properties have nearly 4,000 rooms.
