Another façade of the 58,000 foot Norway Pavilion was inspired by Akershus Festning. The original fortress was built in 1299 and is still standing behind a protective stone wall along the Oslo Fjord. Inside this Epcot attraction you will feel like you are walking the cobblestone streets of a Norwegian village. Surrounding you are architectural features of landmarks from several towns. This pavilion is the youngest at Epcot. Norway opened in 1988.
